Luck is a game mechanic that increases magic find for all characters on the account. With a few exceptions, it does not affect containers (including champion loot bags), chests, Meta events (including World boss Events), or any other source of loot. Magic Find is both an account bonus and a character attribute that increases the chance to receive higher-quality loot from slain foes. Magic Find (or IIQ, short of Increased Item Quantity) builds have insanely high clear speeds and often use items that increase the quantity of items dropped by monsters.
